Found it!

Soooo...got my first camera! Not too professional but that meant it wasn't too expensive either. I got a Nikon Coolpix P100 and I am loving learning about it! I have taken only a few pictures as of right now & will post them soon when I get them loaded. I love the quality of them already! 

Looking for the camera...

So I am in the process of looking for a 'middle of the road' camera to get me going on this journey. I believe it is necessary to invest in something better then my point and shot, especially since I want to take this seriously. Once I have a good camera, I plan to enroll in the New York Institute of Photography! I am excited about this journey and I can't wait to see what it has in store!
